All-Nighter

No sleep for me tonight so why not get back to blogging. Weird how you read your own past posts and your like "Whoa"! Did I do that? Did I say that? Wow look how time has flown...it's been a year already? Kinda cool to look back and see how much changes in a year. More changes just recently! Moved to Wilmington, NC May 5, 2013. Ready for unlimited sunshine, southern hospitality, a gazillion places to eat...the beach of course and just whatever else comes my way. As for my kiddos, girls are growing and Corbin is already a senior in high school graduating June this year! Crazy! Feels like it was just yesterday when I was dressing him up in a million different outfits taking pics of his handsome little self. He's all grown and independant with a capital "I". 3 girls 13,12, and 8 and they couldn't be more different! It's blows my mind how different they are! Nature versus nurture? No it's both definitely! As for moi` I am still figuring out my path in life. I'm always trying my damndest to do the right thing. I love my life now....but there is def still one major thing hanging in my closet that no matter how much I try to push it away, pray it away, shove it as far back as I can....It will always be there. I'm just building up to the day when I have the guts to finish that last chapter of "change" to complete my life. Until then...I am still playing martyr and trying to just fit in to society's social roles for the sake of my babies. I'll keep this one short but can't wait to get back soon and record our lives. ~

Time Flys!

Been a while! Yes life changes dramatically! I had an English teacher in High school that said the one thing you can count on in life is change. He was right!

My husband and I after 13 years have separated for two years and after counseling, trying all that I could do, our marriage is over. It is not the end, it is just a new beginning for both of us in happy lives that happen to not include being married to each other anymore. We are still a family unit and stand strong together for our children, but once again, life has changed. After 30 years of constantly struggling with my own self, I have finally come to live the life with the perrson I was meant to live with in the beginning. I am no longer unhappy, and my children are happy, loved and are able to understand that love comes in many different shapes and sizes and colors. Our family is more functional and loving then it has been in years.

Corbin is now turning 17 next week and is truly a remarkable young man. One so unique and different from your typical teenager, and so insightful, loving, respectful and quite bright. I am so proud of the man he has become. So many in my family has missed out on the opportunity to get to know such a remarkable young gentleman. He has aspirations to be in the field of EMT and Firefighter because he so wants to help people. He will spending the summer in Ohio with Papa enjoying all that he has missed tremendously.

Samantha is now 12 years old and in middle school. Her passion is singing and dancing! She was involved in show choir this year and made it to States! She also played 3 stages of tennis this summer and completed her first one mile race! She continues to love to read, has just finsihed the Chosen series, and is looking for a new series to begin. Sammie writes her own lyrics and poetry, and likes to draw and write stories. Funny how they suprise you, the one who used to refuse to do her homework is now been a straight A student all year and accepted into the National Honor Society and Who's Who amongst students in the U.S.

Katie will be 11 in 4 weeks. She is 5 foot 8 and is incredibly stunning and shaped like a supermodel. She took second in a modeling contest for her age group this year. She has designed over 12 different dresses for her barbies made from materials from rubber, to yarn to safety pins. Her imagination is so incredible and her sense of humor is unique and amazing! She can sing like Christina Perry and dance like a ballet dancer on stage. She can design clothes and draw pictures like an illustrator for books. She has a huge loving heart, and is so kind and grateful. SHe is thoughtful and articulate, smart and amazing! I am so blessed!

Carly is 7 years old now and is in first grade. She loves attention and would stand on a stage 24/7 if she could. She loves to dance, sing, and do flips, cartwheels and splits! She is confident, funny and loves to read to people. She has an extremely grateful spirit, is thankful, and is one of the most helpful little kids I have ever met. She is a tropper, strong, and stubborn. She stands up for what she believes in and is the very best of friends with Corbin.

My children are amazing and I have been so blessed to be able to be home and raise my children. It's no secret we have been through a lot. But they are the reason I fought to stay alive and have fought to be the best person I can be. I have finally reached true happines and joy after years of living in the past and concentrating on my failures and trying to be perfect. I live in the present and enjoy each moment that is directly in front of me. I thank God for the opportunity to live againa and I am so happy I was able to take that opportunity and change my life and my families life and teach my children the things I was able to learn.

Summer 2011 has begun!

I can't believe so much time has passed already! It's already June 2011 and the kids are out of school! Corbin will be a junior in high school this year and he is still dating the first girl he met when we moved up here! They are going on three years strong in October!

So much has changed it's unbelievable! I am going to start blogging again for family and friends who want to keep up with what's going on up here in Maine! For those of you who are up here, enjoy as well!!!

Looking forward to sharing and having a wonderful gift for our children to look back on one day! Love to all!

Over the Weekend

Well, the weekend was slow, we had visitors still, played some card games ate banana bread and the kids played with their cousins. We didn't do much to the outside of the house this weekend due to the 6th day of rain. We got cable for the first time in almost 4 years, and we are watching the Disney Channel daily. I of course get my fix of Dr. Phil now in the mornings. Carly has a field trip tomorrow and will be picking a pumpkin, going on a hayride and eating yummy ice cream. Sam has her first violin lesson at school, Katie is wanting to do karate, and Corbin is enjoying his third week of Harvest break. Mable (my mother in law) is doing okay after her surgery, she is entering rehabilitation this morning, but we are a bit concerned with her memory right now. My nephew had his 1st birthday party, and I heard it was a great one. Happy Birthday Connor! Still looking for my picture cable so hopefully I can get some pics up soon. Hope everyone is well!

It's been a long time

Well, as you all know we packed up and moved to Caribou, Maine. We absolutely love it here. It's been great for the kids, lot's of activities and lot's of family visiting. We have family over everynight, and if they aren't here, then we are at their house. Then there's been soccer for Corbin, the girls, and birthday parties, Sammie starts violin lessons at school this week, Carly will be heading to the pumpkin patch with her class on Monday and I've been busy organizing and unpacking. The weather is cool, awesome and the foliage is gorgeous. Tony's been working his behind off and he loves his job. I've got like tons of pictures to download and soon as I find my cord for my camera I'll start downloading them. Thanks to all who still follow the blog.We love you guys!

WHERE DID THE PICTURE GO? OH HERE IT IS!

Glad to Have My Comedian Back Home

Needless to say, I missed Corbin's sense of humor. He brought it back in full swing on the way to Game Stop after re-uniting with his best bud Zack. It's good to have you back Corbin. (Nice pose-great blackmail lol!)

Fashion show with the latest Panama Jack straw hat

The girls love their Daddy's hat he got for his birthday, and decided they wanted for me to photograph a fashion show for them. Here is a few of my favorite pics.

ONE MONTH LATER.....

It's been a whole month since I've updated this page. So here is what's been going on lately. Corbin got back on the 7th of July from Ohio where he spent quality time with Nan, Papa, and Roxie. He already misses it. He also got to spend some time with Uncle Ryan, Aunt Lacey, and his little cousin Connor. He thought he was real cool, but due to some poison Ivy he got from pulling weeds, he didnt' get a chance to really hold him. He said Uncle Ryan was really cool and he loves his Aunt Lacey too! Thanks bro for spending time with him...he really enjoyed it. He also got to see his great Aunt Rinda and Uncle Dave. He thought it was really cool that they came on a motorcycle! (Papa made sure to let him know their were no rides though..lol!) So I got my handsome, tall boy back, and he weighed 20 pounds more! I can't believe he is hitting another growth spurt! I can't believe he'll be a fresman in high school!
